1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the BizMela platform at bizmela.in, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not access or use the platform.

2. Description of Service

BizMela is a local business directory and marketplace platform that allows users to:

  • Discover and search for local businesses, services, products, and job opportunities
  • List their own business, services, products, or job postings
  • Leave reviews and ratings for listed businesses
  • Connect with professionals and service providers

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and complete information during registration
  • Maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

4. User Content & Listings

When you submit content (business listings, reviews, images, etc.) to BizMela:

  • You retain ownership of your content
  • You grant BizMela a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote your content on our platform
  • You are solely responsible for the accuracy of all information in your listings
  • You must not post false, misleading, defamatory, or illegal content
  • We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms

5. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Post false or misleading business information
  • Impersonate another person or business
  • Use the platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Post spam, duplicate listings, or irrelevant content
  • Attempt to hack, disrupt, or exploit the platform
  • Scrape or harvest data from the platform without permission
  • Post fake reviews or manipulate ratings

6. Business Listings

Business owners who list on BizMela agree that:

  • All business details provided must be accurate and up-to-date
  • They have the legal authority to represent the listed business
  • BizMela is not responsible for any transactions between businesses and customers
  • Listings may be reviewed and approved before being published
  • BizMela reserves the right to remove listings that violate our guidelines

7. Reviews & Ratings

Users may leave reviews and ratings for businesses. Reviews must:

  • Be based on genuine personal experiences
  • Not contain abusive, defamatory, or inappropriate language
  • Not be posted in exchange for any form of compensation

BizMela reserves the right to remove reviews that violate these guidelines.

8. Intellectual Property

The BizMela platform, including its design, logo, text, graphics, and code, is the property of BizMela and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the platform without our prior written consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

BizMela is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties or representations about:

  • The accuracy or completeness of business listings
  • The quality of services provided by listed businesses
  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation of the platform

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BizMela shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued use of BizMela after any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
